Not putting down the Bosch in anyway, that new articulating arm system is a sweet system.

I have the DeWalt and it takes more room to operate than my RAS. Great job site saw not so great shop saw.

I built a bench/cabinet for my previous Miter Saw">SCMS so, switching to the Bosch was a snap. There's nothing directly behind it. The Chopshop saw hood hangs behind it, over that unused hunk of iron jointer. Without the hood, the sawdust would accumulate on that jointer. And, by Jove, we just can't have that.:rolleyes:

I was just down at Lowes.  They still have a bunch of saws for $399.00 but the took the sign down for the free stand.

The DeWalts 12"Compound Miter Saw and harbor freights Hercules 12" Compound Miter Saw is the same saw with different color plastic.
