OTOH, I don't have any boards that wide. And, it's not all that noisy.....wait...what did you say? Speak up. Not putting down the Bosch in anyway, that new articulating arm system is a sweet system. I have the DeWalt and it takes more room to operate than my RAS. Great job site saw not so great shop saw. Herb Quote
Gene Howe Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 I built a bench/cabinet for my previous Miter Saw">SCMS so, switching to the Bosch was a snap. There's nothing directly behind it. The Chopshop saw hood hangs behind it, over that unused hunk of iron jointer. Without the hood, the sawdust would accumulate on that jointer. And, by Jove, we just can't have that. HandyDan Posted July 20, 2018 Author Report Posted July 20, 2018 I was just down at Lowes. They still have a bunch of saws for $399.00 but the took the sign down for the free stand. HARO50 1 Quote
Kevin Beitz Posted March 8, 2020 Report Posted March 8, 2020 The DeWalts 12"Compound Miter Saw and harbor freights Hercules 12" Compound Miter Saw is the same saw with different color plastic. Quote
