July 6, 20187 yr Popular Post I turned a similar wedding basket illusïon a couple years ago as an auction item for my turning club. This one is somewhat smaller at only 12½ inches in diameter. This one will be in the SWAT 2-for-1 drawing next month. The wood is maple and if my memory is correct it has 58 rows of ⅛ inch beads. I used pyrography to create the illusion of a coiled basket and then used Copic ink pens to color the design.
July 6, 20187 yr Billy, that is an amazing art project. I can't imagine the amount of time it took you to accomplish this piece of art and commend you for donating it to the SWAT drawing. Dan

July 6, 20187 yr I've sat here for an hour trying to describe what I am looking at...My thinker just told me, forget it. Would you happen to be that guy on the two wheeler the cops chase from Fort Worth to Dallas every day on I-30. If so you got two very good talents!!
July 6, 20187 yr Bill nice one . You must be recovered from your surgery. I keep thinking I will go to SWAT but something always gets in the way.
