When I tried to put the box into the table it hit the router lift. So I cut the top out of the box and then it was too low when I got it in place., I had to turn the fron angle over to get it to slide in

Then when I got the lower two shelves built, I realised that the top shelf was too narrow for the router bits, so I knocked off the top and sxtended it up 1 1/2"

Herb, Herb, Herb! I'm disappointed in you. You took a perfectly acceptable shelf of tools, where you knew EXACTLY were everything was, and organized them into drawers. Now, you know that you won't be able to find anything now! You'll be opening all of the drawers hunting for where you ORGANIZED the item. What a waste of precious shop time.

I think that you just wanted a busy project. In addition, you just wanted to show off your outstanding skills with that beautiful cabinet.

Shame on you. 1145266958_clappingimogis.gif.57c6a9307e346435a6aa878f80758856.gif

I don't know,we don't have humidity problems here like some areas do. Never had a tool rust inside, only if left out in the rain.

I use the cedar because I like to work with it and it smells good and the color sets off good.

I put most of my tools on dollys, that way I can reposition them easier. When I first tried it I put swivel castors on the 4 corners, but didn't like that as well as 2 swivel and 2 fixed.

I really need some too...the elastic in the waste-band has gone bad....

Oh, I see the pictures now...never mind...

Great minds, and all that... When I saw the heading, I thought Herb had had a kick-back on the table saw, or some such! But seriously, Herb, NICE WORK! All your tool cabinets look good enough to put in the living room. Mine just look like... well, tool cabinets.
