Any Cnc'ers Up For Some Custom Work?

Featured Replies

I need to replicate one part several times. It's 5.5" X 2" X 3/4". Material just needs to be fairly rigid, as in mdf or mdo.

If you're interested, shoot me a PM.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

You didn't describe anything??  except size and I have heard size does matter.

Nothing secret about it, Herb. Take  look at the pictures I posted about the lock miter jig. The orange plastic piece that the red bit is poking through is what I need. It's proprietary but, Jointec went out of business many years ago. Can't get replacements.

Oh Just make your own, Gene, I do it all the time.

What you do is cut a piece the dim. to fill the space between the sliding fence boards, and insert it and tighten the boards against it. set the cutter to height, set one end of the fence at the mid point of the cutter leave the other end loose, turn on the cutter and slowly rotate the loose end thru the cutter cutting out the profile of the cutter. This would also serve as a guide to set up the cutter next time around.

I make zero clearance inserts for different bits that way.
