March 16, 20188 yr comment_143660 Thank you, everybody. LOML had yesterday off, so we took a day trip to see old friends, didn't get home until fairly late. We just had to get away from everything for a while. It's been a crappy year so far. Our daughter is being tested for MS, but her specialist is pretty sure that's her problem. She's a runner, with three cross-country marathons under her belt, and this will probably mean that she won't be able to continue. Then, three weeks ago my wife was diagnosed with glaucoma. Not real bad yet, and eye drops are bringing the pressures down nicely. And then as icing on the cake, our son found out last week that he has colon cancer. His prognosis is good, as they caught it early, but I've learned over the years that cancer is NEVER good! Which might explain why there was no celebration. Again, thanks to all of you. You have brightened up my day! John 10 hours ago, Stick486 said: he wore out his brake pads That's the only part that ISN'T worn out! It's my get-up-and-go that's totally shot!
