    I would have never guessed it was a nose hair trimmer even though it looked like one.  Looking at the machining marks it is no wonder it doesn't work well.  Looks crude to me and can easily see it as a nose hair puller.  Maybe it is Harbor Freight brand.  Here is one with better machining.

    Interesting to see that instruction sheet is old enough it only has the postal zone and not a zip code yet...  

     

    don't think i'd ever be interested in one of those "tools"  :(
