Its about 2" long by 3/8" cir and is adjustable. It seems to be froze and won't turn. I don't want to break it, I could soak it in something to get it loose. It has ( I'll call them teeth ) on one end 8 teeth. I looking for someone to tell me what this thing is

The other end or top or opposite the teeth  has no hole in it. It either pushes or screws toward the teeth end. I will take another picture tomorrow.

I have one in my medicine cabinet. It's a nose hair trimmer. Nasty little thing when it catches and pulls the hairs!

There is a hole on the side but no set screw showing. The hole is aprox 1/16-3/32. There is no hole going through the shaft toward the teeth.

It looks like it is for a certain size hole . After lowering it in the hole it is to be held while the top turns and cuts another hole down inside the original hole. Kinda just like has been mentioned, a nose reaming hair remover. The cutter part might even have threads built on it  but I suspect it is just a reamer.

Well before I use that thing in my nose, I want to know whos nose it was up first.

I think you might have to unfreeze the center pin to solve the problem. The little hole might be to put a drop of url in to lubricate the center pin. I like the idea of a  duplicating center punch though.

The teeth on the open end puzzle me , they almost look like they are cutters, not flat like the center punch pictures. Could we get a picture of the business end?
