Wirebender Posted December 15, 2017 Author Report Posted December 15, 2017 The case for the Sorby backsaw has been on it on it as long as I can remember...I believe my Dad got it from his grandfather...this is also the source of the Brace and bits. I (we) believe that the brace and bits could have been brought from Germany when my Great-Great-Grandfather (b.1766-d.1851) immigrated to this country. The brace and bits work amazingly well...clean holes using a spade bit? These bits produce good holes with a minimum effort! HARO50 and p_toad 2 Quote
