All done!! Small patch I just have one question, do you 220 it THEN wax it or just use the wax as a last coat?

Mike what are you spraying? If it is lacquer, let dry then Johnson's paste wax with 0000 steel wool. It will make it as slick as a baby's behind....that is, if the behind is not wet, if so, change that diaper!

   Then if you decide you want more coats Johnsons won't interfere with the lacquer.

I've got clear enamel on it now. I'm gonna buff it down with scotchbrite pad then use some butcher block wax.

Suit yourself. I've been using 0000 steel wool for over 60 years so I know what it will do!

Excellent bowl.  I like the holes for the yarn.  Often thought of making one with brass grommets.  Never gave a thought to a lid but that really makes it extra special.

i thought she could just throw whatever she was knitting or crotchetting into the bowl and snap it down so my grandson can't get ahold of it.
