    We're still in Tucson. Delayed departure so we could pick up some stuff when the stores open. Plus, Phyl needs her Costco fix. 

    Son tutored me on the laser engraver. Still needs some tweaking but looks like it's going to be a fun toy. Tomorrow, I'll set up an area to play with it. Makes a lot of smoke so, it needs ventilation. Can't get wifi in the shop so the back patio will be the best...for now. 

     

    Gene I’ve got one of the Blue and White 40 watt Chinese units. It does a good job but I’d limited to a piece 8”x14” since it has to fit in the cabinet. It is also water cooled. I would like to get one the would let me do bigger pieces.

    You must have a closed cabinet. Mine is an open frame. Size of material is unlimited. Just set it on any wood surface and move it as necessary. Without moving it, it's burn area is about 16" X 18". Now, if I could just get it to work right....:wacko:
