I saw these at the Woodcraft store the last time I was there. They looked well made and ideal for marking in those hard to reach places.

They're great. Easily erasable yet, won't smudge. Con is ya gotta use the built in sharpener often. And, that's a great price for the pkg.

Reminds me of the mechanical drawing pencils we used in high school.

Made me think of the old mark-sense leads that were required for certain computer card uses.   I still have some of the pencils, leads, and sharpener for the drafting stuff (although i wasn't allowed to take that in HS).  Leads used to be in a variety of colors, too.
