February 18, 20188 yr @Stick486...I received emails from Festool, Highland Woodworker, Rockler and I think Woodcraft all with the same announcement. I'm pretty sure they invoked a price increase last year about the same time frame. Fearful they might lose their position as the highest price tools out there I guess. Well they (Festool) priced themselves out of my budget several price increases ago...MAYBE if I was making a living using theirs tools could I justify the expense...At least I could list them as capital investments and depreciate the expenditures over the course of 5 or 7 years. Not knocking those that have them...I just know their tools are not a wise investment for me.
