Not sure what Horse weed is, when I was about 13 I chewed on some milkweed, got loonier than Col. Custer riding a buffalo.

Yep I probably about the same age with my first/last milkweed experimentation too

Horseweed is nasty, itchy and noxious...picture is from the net, but soybean field behind my house is full of it this year...

Probably unintentional...I'm guessing that Herbs parents generation would have called it Muggles!

...from Wikipedia...A slang term for cannabis; (users are "muggle-heads")

I may have gotten this link on TPW, but here it is again; has very interesting points about the werks inside:

Dag, I just missed a chance to get a  C18 Li 5.2 Cordless Drill Set for only $468.75 -- a steal at that price.   Or not.

At that price you should buy several for Christmas gifts:rolleyes:

Most of these "refurbished" tools come from there generous  30 day no questions asked return policy.  They are like brand new product.

Harbor Freight has the same deal on NEW tools.

@Stick486...I received emails from Festool, Highland Woodworker, Rockler and I think Woodcraft all with the same announcement.

I'm pretty sure they invoked a price increase last year about the same time frame.

Fearful they might lose their position as the highest price tools out there I guess.

I'm gonna start calling you Herber Freight...

Just yesterday I had to cut off a piece of wire shelving. So I grabbed that little HF straight grinder cut off tool with a disc in it and whacked it off in no time, love that little machine.

Herb

thanks for the tip Herber...

Dave, I think it's an annual event at the same time each year. Festool fans look at it as an opportunity to buy more stuff.

Well they (Festool) priced themselves out of my budget several price increases ago...MAYBE if I was making a living using theirs tools could I justify the expense...At least I could list them as capital investments and depreciate the expenditures over the course of 5 or 7 years. Not knocking those that have them...I just know their tools are not a wise investment for me.
