August 20, 20179 yr comment_121546 MY theme reverted back to the "light" theme this morning. Maybe it's tied into the sun's cycle. Report

August 20, 20179 yr comment_121550 Mine, also, reverted back to the light theme this morning. I have changed it back to the custom theme. I am back to experiencing an intermittent lag when typing. Not all of the time just every once in awhile. I not the slowest, or the fastest, touch typist in the world, but it is having a tough time keeping up this morning. Thought you would like to know. August 20, 20179 yr comment_121556 Kinda like sanding. A little rough in the beginning. Then things gradually smooth out. We're up to the 300 grit now. Report
August 20, 20179 yr comment_121559 I've had the lag in typing (occasionally) as well...I kept thinking it was my connection. Maybe not? Report
August 20, 20179 yr comment_121562 Whenever my system responds slowly, it is most often the CPU is involved, heavily, with another operation. You can check the CPU activity using the task manager (assuming you are using a Windows system). This following file demonstrates how to bring up the task manager and check CPU usage- Recording_20170820_1354.mht Report

Our community runs very fast on those browser's, FF has gotten pretty bloated, sadly. Report

Clicking on the "first unread" dot (or star) would put me anywhere on the page BUT the first new comment, and a few other aggravating things. Around noon I thought I'd try Microsoft Edge, and lo and behold, the problems are GONE! Out of curiosity, how does one "reset" FF? I'm learning, but I'm still considered "computer illiterate"!
