as long as it stays the same and remains a figment...

@RustyFN, they have been doing some updates to the site and one of tbose is the "look" of the site. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see "THEME" click on that and you  an use the default theme or choose custum and select the colors you like

MY theme reverted back to the "light" theme this morning. Maybe it's tied into the sun's cycle.

I was in the themes programs late lastnight Lew, you should be good to go now. Thanks for your patience!

Mine, also, reverted back to the light theme this morning. I have changed it back to the custom theme.

I am back to experiencing an intermittent lag when typing. Not all of the time just every once in awhile. I not the slowest, or the fastest, touch typist in the world, but it is having a tough time keeping up this morning. Thought you would like to know.

Kinda like sanding. A little rough in the beginning. Then things gradually smooth out. We're up to the 300 grit now. ;)

I've had the lag in typing (occasionally) as well...I kept thinking it was my connection. Maybe not?

Whenever my system responds slowly, it is most often the CPU is involved, heavily, with another operation. You can check the CPU activity using the task manager (assuming you are using a Windows system). This following file demonstrates how to bring up the task manager and check CPU usage-

My computer was terrible slow typing and discovered that it was the browser. In Firefox you can reset it and solve most problems

Resetting FF does indeed work great! I am loosing my love of FF, I have slowly been making the move to Vivaldi and Chrome. Our community runs very fast on those browser's, FF has gotten pretty bloated, sadly.

I was having problems again (Firefox), such as the page skipping up and down, or going right to the bottom of the page. Clicking on the "first unread" dot (or star) would put me anywhere on the page BUT the first new comment, and a few other aggravating things. Around noon I thought I'd try Microsoft Edge, and lo and behold, the problems are GONE! Out of curiosity, how does one "reset" FF? I'm learning, but I'm still considered "computer illiterate"!

Check here-

Tried it. Looks like nothing's changed. :(
