For any members within driving distance of Ft. Wayne, IN this may be of interest to you. Our club, Northeast Indiana Turners and Chiselers, is hosting Cindy Drozda for a full day demo, Saturday, Nov 4. Times are not set in stone just yet but it will probably be something like 9-4 with a lunch break. In the past, admission for visitors has been dues. I imagine it will be the same this time. Dues for our club is 20 bucks a year, so for 20 bucks a visitor can see one of the premier wood turners in the world for an all day demonstration. Besides being an outstanding artist and technician, Cindy is also an excellent teacher. Keep the date open, it promises to be a great day. I will post reminders as the event gets closer.

Thanks Steve for the invite. It would be good excuse to go to Biaggis afterwards.:P

Sounds like a good day for all.

Hard to believe the prices, Here a down payment is more than that, and any owners contracts are unheard of here anymore.

Prices start in the out lieing areas at 350k and in the city @ 450k. and usually sell for 10k-80k more than listed prices.

When I bought my house it was $14,400 ($400 was for the new washer and dryer). It's been paid off for many years. I think'll stay, for now. Next move is either to Parklawn Cemetery or the old folks home.
