I haven't measured it yet but the specs show:

X Travel 37+ Inches
Y Travel 25+ Inches
Z Travel 5+ Inches

The specs provided by Probotix for their machines are conservative.  That (+) is the key.  If you need a little more room and can edit a text file you can squeeze another inch or so out of the all their models.   I noticed after homing my Meteor it would never reach/touch the rear or right triangular bracket limit switch stops when I jogged it back or to the right.  The software is coded with that 37" and 25" limit, and so once it homes on the left and front switches it will not travel past the coded dimensions.   By doing a quick edit of my Probotix.ini file as well as physically moving the rear Y stop and both X stops back/out I've now got 52.9 x 26.44 of travel on my Meteor.  You can likely find 2.9 inches in the Y direction and 1.44" more in the X direction on your Asteroid.

HEEEEEEEEEY  4D -- you did come over.

This is our college perfesser that we mentioned earlier.

Thanks for the invite HJ.     Like the array of CNC topics.  Hoping Google search will lead more folks here.  Love to contribute where I can.

Post something in the introductions and you'll get an idea of who's here - - - - - and Stick is here to stir the pot.  And don't forget the donuts.

Thanks. I will have to take a close look-see. Not skeered of no text file! Especially if I save a copy first. :-)

Or try the tiling function - - - MEBCWD can tell you how to do that.

Yep, I have watched several videos on that subject. So, I got the kitchen remodel job. It is going to be a bear. Looks like I will be able to get the full version of V-Carve Pro now and put it to work. :-)

You can also create separate toolpaths yourself for the two halves of the project and just make sue the blank is oriented or indexed to the correct axis, but I think it is better to use the built in tiling toolpath in the software.

Nice to see you took the invite,4D.You'll be a great asset here.
