Actually set the alarm and got up early this am! First time for the alarm in about 4 weeks. I am at my desk at work now . It feels good (somewhat) to be out, but on the other hand, being home had its perks, like a nap whenever I wanted :D

had to get into our underground cistern today, about 36" of cold water (50F), to disconnect a pump that needs replacing.  new one ordered, should have it next monday, and then i get to do this all again.

shrinkage.....just glad i didn't have to do this in January.

i've done the polar plunge, 3 times, in Antarctica.  water is +28.5F, but the air is -35F.  your hair freezes as you walk back to the warm up shack.

Good news is that it wasn't the septic system.
