Had i not realized what was about to happen pretty sure i would have lopped it off...about 1/2" deep and 5 stitches.... wife made me go to er was just gonna use superglue lol

Hand was a good foot foot and half away. Last nail to cut was holding side rail and when she kicked she also dropped. Only reason i didnt loose it was cause of that and yankin back as fast as i did

Yep, you're now official.

Glad it just nicked ya. Heal quick, now.

Sorry to hear about that ,Jay, that is when a lot of accidents happen when you are rough cutting and using temporary set ups to break down materiel into usable size. Glad you are recovering.

Definitely an oweee!  We know better than to play with sharp things but we do it daily.

That is very nice also!

Nice shade of blue on the stitches.  "Cat like reflex" eh?  Cats are smarter than humans:  if a claw won't do, they stop right there.

Glad it only nicked.  Lesson for all.

Glad it wasn't worse, and give your wife a kiss...she was right about the ER. I will admit those stitches look like a DIY job, tho'.

That key chain is VERY nice. What's not to like?

Geez Jay...hate to use the word luck with safety, but you were/are lucky. Glad it wasn't any worse. Good thing we have wives to prevent us from DIY'ing our own injuries:P Happy you took her advice. Sorry you had to share such an event, but glad you did...great reminder for us all who dabble with spinning and reciprocating sharp things.;)

Nice work on the key chains too...great gift with the approach of Easter.
