February 28, 20179 yr Pictures, or it didn't happen...right? Next? Says it is a No. 2246A..... That thing stand up on the end? Means I can make a lot of cuts the same length. It has both of these. Keeps the stock from sliding around... Will need some clean up, haven't really started...yet. I think it was priced by the pound....weighs about...$1/pound Tried an 18" backsaw....too small.... Hand held camera..doesn't quite work all that well. Saw would be ok, IF you were doing small, narrow moldings...
February 28, 20179 yr I think that one takes a 24"X4" saw. here is a 24" http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-1887-Simonds-Mitre-Miter-Box-Back-Saw-For-Stanley-Rule-Level-24-/371714532193?hash=item568be9a361:g:hHgAAOSwV0RXtsIZ Herb Edited February 28, 20179 yr by Dadio
February 28, 20179 yr The shaky one resting on my stomach, just before I went back upstairs. All the rest were on a tripod. Saw is a might too old for the mitre box....I think...
