I was trying to go at it pretty hard at first and it just wasn't working so I am going to try it their way now.

Make you a deal John...you leave the doctoring/rehab instructions up to those with that expertise and I'll see to it they leave the woodworking up to you...:D

Seeing your Lego table gave me a couple ideas for down the road...would work great for Lincoln Logs too...grandsons have lots of both.

No shop time in the short term forecast...Been an up & down week still with my mother...spent nearly 48 straight hours at the hospital from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon; Outside chance she might be released this weekend back to Rehab/nursing facility...had to move all of her stuff out so now will have to move stuff back...been a long 8 days.

The shop is so small that anything that comes in requires either something to leave or a redesign

Deal!!;)

great at idea for the Lincoln logs. I put the lip around the top of the table to aid in keeping the pieces on the table and not sliding off in the floor. This one will have bumpers on the bottom so when they remove the legs it can sit on a table top and not scratch the table.

Hope me your mom is better. I had to go over Thursday night and get my mom up. She fell again and couldn't push her button for them to come but was able to dial my phone.

I'm reminded of the farmer who, when asked why the pig pen had the fence boards on the outside of the posts, replied- "so the pigs have more room".

My shop is so small I had to put those Arthur Murray dance lesson foot stickers on the floor to guide me through it.

Your mom falling must be a generation problem.  My MIL fell and wouldn't push the button.  We found her the next day when she didn't answer her daily check in call, wanted to know why we took so long getting her up.
