Dave, I am keeping my fingers crossed for your family.

Our APA pool team came in first place last  session and Saturday will be spent participating in a tournament with teams from three counties playing.  Sunday is up for grabs just yet.

Team didn't come home a winner but it was still a good day.  We went to Chili's Restaurant afterward.  That was a winning move.  Excellent meal.

Well at least you had a shot it...not sure if pun intended or not:lol: Regardless sounds like an enjoyable day.

Keith, I was watching an episode of "American Woodshop" and he did a tour of the Columbus Furniture Bank. It really was interesting to watch (something that's not normal for me when watching Scott Phillips) and they were really cranking out the stuff. I didn't realize there was one in Cincinnati as well. You volunteer there?

Yes, been going there a couple of years.   Columbus has about a 10 year head-start on Cinci, but they told us we were about where they were at this stage of their development.    They have a nice shop where they makek tables, chairs, and beds.   They have a generous set of sponsors and get truckloads of sheets of particle board from a large factory in NW Ohio, a bunch of trucks from a retail HQ'd there, etc.    Two Sawstops, a Makita track saw, a bunch  of cordless drills and drivers, routers, ROS, and jigs and fixtures out the wazoo.  They opened a thrift store in a major shopping area last year and plan to start a "downsizing" business soon -- moving, packing, selling, donations, etc.

Can you guess which one is me???

P.S. picked up $300 of red oak last Wednesday to start a dresser & nightstand.

Yes, usually it's "back row, center"   (except in ROTC formation marching, where it was front row right.)
