Amazing how many people are getting knees, hips, you name it.   Friend's wife just got a pin and screws in her one femur.   Don't wish that on anyone and always hope folks have a speedy (relatively) painfree recovery.   In the past, i've found ice packs to be my friend.

 

I like that sawhorse, but without  (or maybe even with) a sacrificial piece on top...i would move those top rows of fasteners down a bit....like out of saw blade range.
