Shelves for our Local Library

I was asked by our local library if I would build 3 shelving units for storage.  I did the project as a public service and only charged for the material.  Next time may be different.

Nice, both the work and the contribution of effort. Are those finished (clear finish I'm guessing)?

Yep.  Just two coats of clear coat.

Nicely done units Ron. Good on you for providing the community service. Thanks for sharing both.

Nice Work Ron.

Very nicely done on the shelves and nice job on the contribution. I'm sure they will enjoy them for many years.

Nice job Ron!!

Well some folks prefer to drill holes & use shelf pins instead of dados...:P

If they can afford books, they can afford to pay for shelves.

Great job, and I'm sure the contribution is much appreciated.

Baltic birch Lew.  Actually, there's only three dados on each unit.  Top, bottom and center.   The other shelves are supported by 1/4" pins and I gave them 4 adjustment holes per shelf.  These are spaced at about 12".

Good work. I guess they did not ask you to do the Dewey Decimal on the shelves.

Nicely done.  Kudos on the time donation.

Very sharp...great idea for some adjustable shelves...nice of you to donate your time...

...switching to eBooks, are you...? :)
