Posted this last year, might have to make a few more this time around...

Only takes a 1 x 6 x 8'   to make all four of these.....need to find the patterns again, and the other supplies....

This one is a bit "blocky", I have been known to use a router table and a 3/8" round-over bit, to round things out..

Big red bow, and a red nose.   Black sharpie for the eyes.    Nails and glue to hold things in place.    Hot-melt glue to hold the "antlers"  ....just in case Rudolph should fall over.  Hot melt will give way before any of the wood will.   Usually stain the antlers a dark walnut.    Sometimes, I will even use real Walnut.   depending on what I use to cut out the parts, each  Rudolph will take about,...1/2 an hour to do..

I like it!

Very nice Steven...original too...best get those elves cracking down in the workshop before 'Santa's' knee gets reworked.:P

I like Rudolph !!

Very nice Steve!

Can you share the plan so I can make a few?

Never really had a plan for these....I don't know IF someone could transfer from these pictures enough to make a plan.....been making these critters since the early 1990s...first year, I sold almost a 100 of them.   And still had a few for friends and family.

Have one that Maxwell had found near enough to the floor that he'd chewed on it a bit.    Might tear it down, and make a new one, using it as a pattern.   Might post a few with a grid behind it so others can try to make one?

I remember those, they are nice! Odd ,since I can't even remember what i had for dinner last night.
