October 4, 20169 yr Author Ok, I cleaned off the B&D Workmate in the shop tonight. Closed the moving jaws up tight. Will need to buy a couple lags. Somehow managed to haul that heavy SOB of a sander down to the shop, and placed it on the Workmate. I WAS going to retire the old 3 wheeler bandsaw.....it was a might too much trouble to remove it from it's stand. So, it got a reprieve, of sorts. I have the belt sander table standing straight up. The disc table has been moved around, and installed to use with the beltsander part. IF I remember, I'll take a camera down there this week. A little show & tell?
October 5, 20169 yr Author Ok, I think I have all the other bits rounded up. There is two complete sets, from a #4 up to a #20. There is an extra one or two with double flutes. There is a 5 piece set of HiKraft bits, all stamped as such on their shafts. A few gimlet bits and twist drill bits. And Two #11 x 16" long bits. I think I'll keep the 5 pc set in it's roll up holder. Not sure about the LONG bits, just yet. The OEM box may get a second life.....seems I have a few rosewood handled Stanley squares and sliding bevel gauges to stash somewhere. Might toss the marking gauge and the hand forged marking knife in as well. May need to rearrange a few holders in there, first. Plan ( plan? PLAN? I use PLANS??) is to make some sort of "rack" to hold all those boxes. Like a wooden systainer? Slide a box out to use the items inside, slide it back in when done. Have a BIG empty under the bench.......Hmmmmmm.....and half a sheet of 1/2" plywood. Maybe AFTER this knee gets fixed up, eh?

Dude...give that knee a break for a bit (no pun intended)...or at least get it elevated some throughout the day and evening...evening you wrap an ice pack on it 1/2 hour at a time. Just trying to get you rehabbed in time for the next picking season!
