Ok fellas ....what do you do with all these saws after rehab? Is there an underground saw movement or black market in these?

Honestly, I really never intended to be at 30ish saws to rehab.  Some of the problem came in the form of buying groupings of saws at auctions to get one or two that I wanted and ending up with spares.  A few were just given to me and a few I bought because I thought they were better condition than others that I already had.  And, there are the heirloom tools that make the mix.  There will be eBay in my future, I think!

So, Brent, when you gonna do a tutorial on a refurb?

I am looking for some alternative methods and would be interested in how you do yours.

I had not really thought seriously about doing a tutorial.  I consider myself in thelearning stage myself but could possibly do so when work calms down in a month or so if folks want to know what I am doing to my saws.

That trumps (no pun or political reference intended ;)) my current six; well 7 if you count the one in pieces that I forgot about and nearly melted away in the white vinegar bath...:blush:

It's only a collection if you don't use them. That is why I have several packed away...if they aren't visible they don't exist...

Anyone need any 3, 4, or 5's? Liberties, molding planes, ooops, er, I mean, I'll be on the lookout, ah, yah, um, right...on the lookout for you.

Collection is all about quantity.  If your collected items are is usable condition that adds to the quality of your collection.
