Arm and Rocker Templates (New Lebanon Transitional Rocker)

Featured Replies

Just a shot of a couple templates I have been working on over the last couple hours with a cup of good coffee by my side.

Top is the arm, bottom is the rocker. You'll see my French curve at left, the French curve is one of my all time favorite drawing aids. If the Frenchy can't do it, you don't need it.

Once I get these dialed in, I'll glue them to some 3/8" Baltic and cut them out. I love this part of a project, it's completely relaxing. Thanks for looking!

Love seeing "Sketch-up" 1.0...I understand it! :P Eagerly waiting to see this go from concept design to actual. Keep 'em coming.

Haven't sat at the drawing board for a while.  I like it.  Graph paper rules.

Drawing for me is fun and relaxing. I'll frequently use 1"=1" graphing paper to see parts of a project in real size. Before I became a Land Surveyor I had my eyes set on being a draftsman, and I took a few classes for it, the drawings above are far from draftsman quality, but I learned the fun in those classes. As it turned out the classes still helped me in my current career, I draw up notes daily using the drafting techniques I learned years ago.

Thanks for reading guys.
