September 6, 20169 yr Thanks Lew for the post...I hadn't see an email on this yet...I'll take a look on-line.
September 6, 20169 yr I looked at the sale ad yesterday and decided to try their Starret band saw blades. Figured I would call today and forgot. Thanks for the reminder. I recently found a nice buy on Graigslist and needed 99.75 inch blades for it. I am going to leave it in the garage and use it to process turning blanks from logs after I use the chainsaw on them. It has a one horse motor and an 8.5 in resaw capacity. For what I do it should be perfect. $200.00 I think it is made by the same manufacturer that makes Rikon. Looks the same as the 10-321 Rikon Edited September 6, 20169 yr by HandyDan
September 6, 20169 yr WTG! Don't even feel guilty do you! You are correct that model was/is made by Ricon. Al B just bought a new one earlier this year for his BS boxes. Pretty sure he got a good deal on a Rikon fence system and it fit perfectly. Anxious to hear your review on the Starrett blades.
September 7, 20169 yr As Dave said, that is the Craftsman BS that I purchased from Sears. It has worked out well for cutting BS boxes, though it is a nuisance when making the guide bearing adjustments. It requires 2 different size wrenches and an allen wrench to do the job. Though Sears doesn't recommend using anything smaller than a 1/4" blade, I have been using a 3/16" blade for cutting the BS boxes with no problem. You got it for less than 50 percent of the normal selling price, without a fence. It is made by Rikon and the Rikon fence fits it perfectly. The Rikon fence is also cheaper than the Craftman fence, in case wasn't included with your saw. Note: I had the Jet 14" BS and foolishly sold it a few of years ago, thinking I wouldn't be able to get back to woodworking.
September 7, 20169 yr Thanks for the review Dave. I have an old Delta 14" I have been using for a long time. This came along at the right time and the right price. I am going to keep this one in the garage for processing turning blanks . It will keep me from hauling everything down the basement and then hauling out the scraps. Easier to clean up too.

September 7, 20169 yr Dan if I had known I would have split the cost 60/40 right down the middle and we could have shared.
