May 5, 201610 yr I started this cedar chest a month back and then got bronchitis and couldn't seem to get over it. Anyway back on the chest and will hopefully finish it this week. Yesterday I got the dovetails sanded flush and got the skirts cut and installed around the bottom. I have the top panel already glued, just need to cut to size and put on the trim, install the hinges and it will be ready for finish.
May 5, 201610 yr You've been busy, my friend. Your tight dovetails are prove that this wasn't your first rodeo.

May 9, 201610 yr I love your skirts John! That style is really nice. The curly cuts at the ends with a straight line between them. I've always loved that about your chests.
May 9, 201610 yr Funny thing, the instant I saw the pictures I smelled cedar! Nice design and work, I look forward to seeing it finished.
