This is a cookie jar I turned from a chunk of pine I purchased in Big Bear. We took a family vacation and I bought a few chunks of pine and I'm turning bowls and boxes for evry family that was there.

Wow, I like that. I have only a mini, so mine would have to be a one cookie jar. Nice workmanship, turned out great.

Really is a nice piece, well done!

Love the colors in this one :). I am curious to know how you did the texturing as well?

I used a sorby texturing tool, it's the mini one, all I have is midi lathe. It's the first time I used it and it took a little getting used too. I saw a demonstrated by a sorby rep at Woodcraft in

Ventura and that helped.

Awesomely done Jaime.  Love the wood grain and the texturizing of it.  Thanks for sharing this with us.
