October 9, 201510 yr My buddy John Moody is on the road pickin' today so he asked me to ask you, "What's on your agenda?" No shop time for me this weekend. I'm spending tomorrow at the range with a couple of 9MMs and of course, my beloved Fighting Irish plays Navy tomorrow. Sunday morning the missus and I are flying to Washington D.C. for a few days. So what do you folks have cooking for the weekend?
October 9, 201510 yr Today, a little work on my antique style computer case.As to the weekend, the wife & I are going to visit her mom.
October 9, 201510 yr Yesterday I got 8 more large cutting boards glued up and have them all out of the clamps sitting on the workbench waiting to be run through the planer. Today I will get them all planed and cut to final size and then will start gluing up some cheese boards. On Saturday we have to go to a memorial service for the mother of one of my wife's friends. So we will be tied up all day Saturday. Sunday afternoon I should be able to get back into the shop to do some more work....hopefully. Here is the beginning of this last batch of cutting boards and cheese boards. Using a mix of maple, walnut, cherry and mahogany.
October 9, 201510 yr To follow up, I got 8 large cutting boards all ran through the planer and cut to final size. I also just finished up gluing 13 more cheese boards. So tomorrow night when we get back from the funeral I will get the cheese boards out of the clamps and get things ready for Sunday afternoon after church so I can run them all through the planer and cut them to size.

My former Doctor (he's now in formation for the Jesuit Priesthood) was a Notre Dame Alumnus and I always harassed him when the Irish lost. Since I can't harass him, I'll transfer it to you, my friend GO NAVY! LOL.
