August 29, 201510 yr Saw a lot of old, cheap junk tools at one spot on the yard sale trail....meh. Decided to try another spot in town....Boss keeps finding knick-knacks... One place had a couple items worth picking up..One was a "Air Cut Off Tool" by CAMPBELL/HAUSFELD with case and all parts, including a worn wheel....$5 Started to leave...saw a box on the driveway with a few odds and ends....and a coping saw! Seeings how I am down to just ONE such critter in the shop, a back-up could come in handy. No price tag on it? Hey, about a dollar bill for this rusty thing? SOLD! Sooo, here tis, the treasures of a very skimpy day the cut off tool, you can also buy them new at walmart...19.95...as for the saw? Atkins No. 50 Coping saw...$1. I looked this critter up, all I found was an 1930 Popular Mechanic's ad. So. Now I have a Disston/HK Porter No. 10 coping saw and this Atkins No. 50. Other than the handles, they seem to be about the same size. Might give the cut off tool to my son, since he has an air compressor to run it with. yep, a bit on the skimpy side today...
