February 2, 201511 yr Here are the potato mashers I made this past weekend. they are turned from hard maple and styled after an antique one I found at a rummage sale.

February 3, 201511 yr These are very cool. I made one of these recently out of spalted maple. I'm not using it for food for that reason but it looks like it would make a great fish thumper too, LOL. (used to thump fish in the head that actually have teeth). I'll have to upload an image of it here soon but it's pretty basic.
