So we are headed to the shop to see what we can finish today.

Hope you all have a great day.

It is so great to see all of the projects you are working on. Thanks for sharing them with us here at TPW!

My weekend was spent mostly making needle cases like the ones here, but I also had to glue the fire starter into it's handle.

What you can't see is that the fire starter handle also has a compass glued into the left end. A neat thing to have on camping trips.

I still have 8 of these sewing needle cases to do before I ship them out tomorrow.

I hope you all had a safe fun weekend in the shop.

Corner Bench update.

I got the church pews cut and started to put the benches together. The tops are made from the seat part of the pews. They will be hinged so there will be some storage under the benches. The fronts of the benches are the backs of the pews. I have a panel glued up that goes in the back corner so it will not open at that point.

I still have to get the patten to cut out the corner in that panel. Then I will install the hinges and a few small pieces of moulding.

I should get them finished this week and installed.
