November 5, 201015 yr So if you are making your Christmas list for Santa, what would you like to have to add to your shop. Let's keep it woodworking!
November 5, 201015 yr 8" diamond grinding wheel Clear Vue Cyclone Drum Sander like John Moody has Woodchuck pen pro turning tool Oh and a Morris rocking chair (hint, hint)
November 6, 201015 yr Start checking dumpsters and garbage day for thrown out furniture. Also go to craigslist and see who's giving away furniture, you may find some good wood/tabletops/etc. you can use. steven newman said:A shop with HEAT! Maybe a few hundred board feet of lumber, just to play around with. I'm about out of wood to use, no $$$ for any more. Tools? I've got about all I need to do what I do out there. New blades, maybe.

November 7, 201015 yr let's see, The entire line up of Lie Nielsen hand tools, I mean the whole kit and caboodle. Wait, is your question fantasy or real? If it's real then A rabbeting plane from Lie Nielsen A nice Paxton dovetail saw and a Work Sharp 3000. I love Mikes helper idea, but I don't think my wife would go for that. You see, she is from Panama, and she knows how to use a machete very efficiently. Ugly things happen with machete's. Especially when one is sleeping, you all remember Lorena Bobbit?
November 7, 201015 yr Author If I got Mike's helper I would never be allowed in the shop again so I wouldn't need any tools.
November 10, 201015 yr Hello John, I am so fortunate to have a great family in my wife, daughter, son in law and my precious granddaughter, I have every thing I could ever ask for as they truly have been good to me over the years and last year I told them they didn't need to buy me any tools but, instead it they wanted they could buy me some of the work clothes I wear day in and day out. I have been blessed to have them for they have over the years given me the best high quality tools that any man could ask for. Every time I ask them what they want they always say nothing special. Since I don't know their sizes, I let my wife do all the buying over the Home Shopping channel or through QVC. She is such a procrastinator that we end up paying the extra charge to get a package before Christmas. Ralph
