Miter Guage

John, question...any side to side slop in the miter slot. My Kreg uses plastic allen set screw to take in the slop, which I'm not to fond of. Looks like on yours, screws in the miter bar can spread the bar to adjust slack, I like that better.

Ace, there was no side to side slop in the miter slot at all. It came with the screws already set, but they also include a different size one if  you need to take up more adjustment. It was dead on right out of the box.

Took me a second, Lew, but I see what you are saying. I may have to give that a try.

Thanks for the review John. Sorry and somewhat bewildered about the thumb screw issue. I think I'd be calling Osborne for a fix. I'm glad you like it overall but I was hoping for more.

What were you hoping for that I may have left out Richard? I will edit the post if I need to add something.

John, did you try flipping the stop around so the nut was on the outside? I think you said you were going to try that?

Glad you are happy with your purchase. Not being sure about the T-Style lock down, could you posibly change it to a different style ? Maybe like a hand grip style you would use on a router sled jig? Just a thought.

Thanks for sharing John

I was hoping you'd very happy not just happy overall. Nothing wrong or missing with your review.

Then certainly let me re-phrase that. I am very happy with it. I do want to put it through a few more paces and will try to write up a better review.
