October 15, 201114 yr I have 19 cutting boards to sand level, trim up and final sand. All for Christmas gift sales. I was supposed to get that done yesterday, but I got a real bad case of the stomach flu so I was down for the count all day on the couch. Allen WorshamCorona, CAallenworsham@earthlink.nethttp://www.awcreationsandwoodcrafts.com'Graze in every man's field, but always give your own milk' J. October 15, 201114 yr John,Not too sure yet about a craft show. I will start with my wife's and daughter's schools as I have sold quite a bit of stuff over the past few years to teachers. There are a couple of local craft shows which I may do depending on how things go. Whatever money I make over the materials cost goes to my wife so she can get gifts for the kids as finances are a bit tight this year. Allen WorshamCorona, CAallenworsham@earthlink.nethttp://www.awcreationsandwoodcrafts.com'Graze in every man's field, but always give your own milk' J. October 15, 201114 yr Author Allen, we should be having the "Let The Chips Fly" craft fair here in San Jacinto if your interested. It is usually in November, if not it's fun to walk through anyway. It's at the Saboba Casino. Just a heads up. They were old but they all still worked good. This afternoon I'm working on a fold down run-off for my cabinet saw. Tomorrow I hope to get the primer coat on my window trim frames.

October 16, 201114 yr Cut out some 5 1/2 inch letters from poplar for part of the birthday gift for a one year old.  Seriously thinking about making a mega sized alphabet set in the near future.  Have bowls to finish sanding with my air sander and hoping to try my hand at that platter or plate today.  Cut out the outside diameter of the platter on the scroll saw.  Rest of the platter or plate will be done on the lathe. Out of courtesy to my neighbors, waiting until 9am to turn on the lathe and air compressor.  16 minutes from shop time!!!! SQ  It it can't be fixed with glue and sawdust - it's not worth fixing.
October 16, 201114 yr Getting ready to knock down some stock to rough size for a small cabinet. Spent Sat. sharpening saws, plane blades and chisels. Oh saw Buddy Guy last night he had the most beautiful acustic guitar. Sounded good to.  Good, Better, Best never let it restTill your Good is Better and your Better is Best.
