Our condolences to you and your family.

Each night as you look at the sky, consider that perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

Thank you all so much for the warm wishes, thoughts and mostly the prayers. God granted me the good fortune to be able to spend the afternoon with my Dad before he passed away. We had just got his favorite chair moved into the new apartment and a new 42" TV. He loved to watch football so we spent the afternoon watching a replay on CSS. He ask me if I would like to bet on the winner. I ask him if he remembered who won since this was a replay and he said yes, he only bet on sure things.

My dad was a wonderful man, father, husband and friend. He took everyday experiences and used them constantly as life teaching moments. He was always working on us boys to shape our character. He taught us to respect people and to respect another person's property. Treat people like you want to be treated.

He taught me many things about woodworking, electricity, mechanics and just good old general how to. He will always be with me in my thoughts.

I am thankful I will see him again one day and I have that assurance.

This is my dad in 1946, a Marine on the Island of Sipan.

Thanks Dad for your service to this Great Country!
