Check Out Our New Political Discussion Group! (1600 Pennsylvania)

Featured Replies

We now have a dedicated area for our esteemed political activists on our site! It's a great place to call home for all your political discussions. Check it out at 1600 Pennsylvania.

Just a lil warning, it can get a tad heated in this group, some of our members love their politics, and when you enter the "Room" all bets are off folks!

So head on over to 1600 Pennsylvania and discuss what you love, or hate, about politics and the leaders and headliners that drive the news in the world of politics.

We are open to any suggestions within the group, if you want to see links to other political sites or anything else within the group, just say the word and we'll make it happen. We want you to feel at home, and enjoy your coffee lounge.

This is just the beginning folks, the group will grow and we will add new features to it as it grows and becomes the next Huffington Post, errrr, I mean the next Heritage Foundation err, aww shucks, you know what I mean!!!

Whatever the color of your politics are, your more then welcome to shoot it out at 1600 Pennsylvania.

To access the group, just gaze your eyes below the Forum Discussion window on the home page, you'll see the groups and click on the icon with the White House.

Thank you Patriot Woodworkers.

By the way, did you know you can create your own group!

Rehal, we are not going to discuss politics here, we have had a flurry of politics here on our site and we decided to give the politics a place all of their own. Politics will not show up here on the woodworking forum anymore. That was the whole point of this announcement, I repeat, no more politics will be discussed here within our forum. The politics will be discussed in a private coffee lounge setting away from woodworking and our troops. Thanks Rehal!

Rehal,

John Morris and his staff are working hard to find a viable solution. And have set up a group to give the Politicals a place to debate. This will also keep political post off the main page. Please give TPW a chance.

Just to add to John's & Russell's statements. You physically have to elect to join the group and click on the "Groups" tab at the top of the home page which will bring up a list of the "Groups" and then select the group you wish to view or participate in. The discussion will not be published on the home page. To view the discussions you have to actually go there as I have stated. You won't see the political topics on the home page like it was at LJs. This is a great way to handle it and as Russel stated Give it a chance, John is working hard to make this site a welcome place for all to come and discuss woodworking  and support for our troops regardles of political affiliation.

Don't leave us Rehal.  The politics will be discussed in a group all on their own and you'll have to join the group to partake.
