I did not realize there were so many plans out there for the taking!Cliff said:here is a full set of planshttp://www3.telus.net/steve_n_shelly/WW_files/WW_images/WW_workbenc...This fellow is a boy genius who has explored making screws for his own vices along with a full blown, over the top, Ruobo and Scandinavian bench with three vices.http://www.youtube.com/user/MrCartersAccountSomebody find that kid a scholarship at MIT.John MorrisThe Patriot WoodworkerProud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops Report
November 28, 201213 yr comment_20974 Hey John, Why?That assembly bench is grteat the way it is!!Put some heavy duty wheels with locks on it and add the 2 vises you saw and you have mobility, big workspace, and versatility. Lots of wasted space under that table too!!! I think a rework is in order!! November 28, 201213 yr Author comment_20973 Hey Mike great to see ya man!My current bench has heavy duty casters on it now. And a cabinet with doors. I love the storage it has now, that is why I need the shaker bench with all that storage. I could rework it to work. But I really like the way that Shaker bench looks, ya, I could use what I have, and I'll have to for sometime yet until funds become available. But when I do build it, it will be the last one I ever own. Thanks Mike, great to see ya around buddy.dragon1 said:Hey John, Why?That assembly bench is grteat the way it is!!Put some heavy duty wheels with locks on it and add the 2 vises you saw and you have mobility, big workspace, and versatility. Lots of wasted space under that table too!!! I think a rework is in order!!John MorrisThe Patriot WoodworkerProud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops Report
