This forum was moved from our old community to our new community, the software change made much of our old content disheveled and the layout looking poor. But we are keeping this forum intact, as we slowly but surely move the old content, to our active Veterans Forum.

She asked for me and explained about here husband and put him on the phone. He told me he wanted to turn a pepper grinder similar to the ones I make and wondered if I could help. You can't turn down a a fellow vet. I sent him all my images of how I made mine, including drawings and measurements. I told him that if he had …

Sharing a birthday with this event is always a solemn reminder of the price paid for my freedom. Time has healed old wounds, but may we always remember what "The Greatest Generation" sacrificed. President Franklin Roosevelt, December 8, 1941. Mr. Vice President, Mr. Speaker, Members of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives: Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 -- a date which will live in infamy -- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its governm…
