Today marks the 80th anniversary for the beginning of The Battle of Iwo Jima. "...Lest we forget..."

    There is a channel on my cable called the American Heroes Channel (formerly The Military Channel) that shows a one hour episode of the WWII island battles of the Pacific, including Iwo Jima. Very good show, and very bloody battle.
