I came up with this craft project a couple years ago when I was visiting one of my best buds. He collects motorcycles like some of us collect tools. Maybe collect is the wrong term cause he does tag, insure and ride 'em all. Road bikes, big bikes... last I knew he had a Harley, a Kawasaki and two Victories - or maybe it's two Kawasaki's and one Victory. Most of you have seen some of my glass & mirror work. I thought if I could get those various logos into my computer, I could make him a heck of a gift I did start the logo process and began a search for what I thought would be easy enough, a window sash with multiple panes. Not so easy! Either of those tasks. But about a month ago I was going through an on line auction and there were three window sashes. I looked them over and they were a bit rough, but they had large 10 x 14 panes, perfect for my project. $17.50 and tax later I got them home.

Hello, On this posting I linked to both new content and a previously-posted image. On some platforms there is a toggle to select, "open in new window" when adding a link to an image or text.. Interestingly enough, when I lay the URL into this post, and it appears as a preview with interactivity, clicking on it does open linked content in a new window. Is there a way to make URLs using theicon open links in new tabs / windows? Thank you! - jim

Well, was looking for a small project to use up the left over Pine...Had a 1 x 8 that seemed to be long enough...and cut up a 1 x 6 for a couple curvy legs... Notched to fit over the backsplash...nothing real fancy, as it will get painted, anyway....had a second notch to cut.. To fit around the window sill. counter-sunk screws, and a bead of glue...again, nothing fancy...maybe an hour of shoptime... Spent as much time going back and forth from the shop to the kitchen...as the building... waiting on the paint, now.
