This eagle was started at the Championship in Addison, Pa. I brought it home to finish. Many have seen this all over. The rough in was about 45 minutes, but the details were some time. It has become the profile pic for the Texas chainsaw carving community. Was so happy by the outcome. -

The finished product after 8 long months. Everything is carved, including grasses. The snails is carved too. The fly was tied by me for the jumping brown trout. What a cool project. Thanks for looking! -

Starting of 3 species of trout for a friend. Much work to go. Rough in by chainsaw, then worked down to smooth finish. Home depot lumber believe it or not. 2x6 material glued up, then sawn down. The three trout will be one of each, Brook, brown, and rainbow. It will have an eagle looking down from a perch. -
