  1. Hope all of our turners have heat and electricity. Looks like we are due for another dusting here in south central PA. Our Patriot Turners- @Gerald spent some time cleaning up around his lathe and sorting out drawer contents. That's something I know needs done in my shop a sediment shared by our members. @Ron Altier has been working on a couple of projects. He spent time modifying some canes he made. These are beauties! Ron tells us the what and why of the changes Check his post for some of the nice comments left by our turne
  2. I managed to find 2 more cheese cutters and convert them into pizza dough rollers. Most are tapered but I am trying a straight one. They are Walnut, Maple and Yellow Hart pizza rollers.MOV
  3. I made another pizza dough roller, as a gift this time, the Celtic knot is much better. I used Coco Bolo, (at least I think it was) and maple. I used nylon spacers as bearings and used an old cheese cutter for the handle assembly. The one I made for myself really works good
  4. I liked the rolling pin that I made Karen and decided to make myself a new roller for my pizza dough. I made it many years ago out of a cheese slicer. I'm sure you have seen them, they have a small aluminum roller with a thin wire across the top. I revised it to become a roller. I was going to toss the rough piece, but decided turn it down to use it on my roller I couldn't finish it properly today, too cold. I will do that when it warms up
