Not complaining since last year I didn't get a single tomato (or anything) because the garden drowned in the early season rain that never stopped. This year I didn't get a graden in (we had just moved here) but was able to set up a tomato patch with 12 plants. Got in in very late for this area, so didn't get tomatoes until the end of August. The weather again screwed me over this year, no rain during the summer (I watered) and a fall that has been a little unusual. So we got tomatoes for about 6-7 weeks, and no they're gone. For the record: I'm a burger lover and see 2 things that should be national holidays: the arrival of Vidalia onions and the arrival of homegrown tomatoes. The day the tomatoes go should be a national day of mourning. But that's just me. They came so slowly and left so quick this year I only got to make one pot of chili with homegrown. But we did have some tomatoes, making it a lot better than last year!
