    Jump Peg Game

Last year Jesse aka @Smallpatch offered to send us plans for this and some other games and I took him up on it. Thank you Jesse for your generosity. I decided to make some to give as a small gift at this years family Christmas party. I ordered up 500 golf tees and used them all. For the game board I used some scraps I had lying around that had Formica glued to them figuring the holes would be crisper and I was right. The holes came out beautiful. Each board has 15 holes for 15 pegs. I didn't like the length of the golf tees and cut 1/2" off each one. That was nuts. Surprisingly there were only 5 bad tees in the box but there was less tees than it said on the box. 500 should have made 33 with some left over. Only had enough for 32 and only had the bad ones left over.
  2. So I get a piece of Formica close to the right background color and saw another piece like the missing one! Formica is close to the same thickness and we will leave that piece un painted but with a note saying this piece will be the last piece of this puzzle no matter where you start or finish putting the pieces together!!!! Or real close to that last piece?? We only do 1000 pieces or more so this will be a while before anyone knows where it goes. Strange, but a person knows when their eyesight starts going south!!!The back wall of the garage is usually where he leaves a tell tale sign.

    Bending Laminate

So I picked up a vintage Mayline Futur-Matic-Drafting-Table. This table is electrically adjustable from about 30" to 48" above the floor, and works great. My goal is to rehab it into a standing desk. This means addressing the top. I would like to make a new top with a laminate top (formica, wilsonart etc.). It will see use 7-8hrs a day. This top will be 3'x6' I would really like to have a waterfall/rounded profile on the long edges. This brings up the question of is this something I can successfully do myself with say a heat gun and patience? Or should it be left up to the pros? What radius do you think would be a safe bend? Suggestions or Ideas? Thanks, TxMoose MAYLINE 1.pdf MAYLINE 2.pdf
