This is the newest stick, based on a Baggetta design: And here is the display rack I built for the sticks, there are magnets on the back so I can stick it to the canopy leg at the Farmers Market :
  3. I work part-time at a local garden center, and am often asked to make something for a store display. These items have to be reasonably cheap, look good, and last at least for the length of time the display is up. IF they survive a year in storage, they may be re-used next year. This time it was a fireplace for the Christmas season. A few knotty pine boards, some left-over flooring from our kitchen, and a couple of pieces of plywood, and we have this! The structure around it was a project from about six years ago, and is a permanent fixture. John
  4. From the album: The Patriot Woodworkers Challenge Coin Displays

Matt Ostrowski, US Army Combat Medic, displays his coins proudly in a display made by Patriot Woodworkers George Knutson and Sandy Smith. Thank you for your service Matt, we owe you more than a display, we owe you our freedom! If you'd like to read more about Matt, please click on Matt Ostrowski, US Army, Operation Enduring Freedom, Rock Hill, SC, VHOP. And we'd love to thank Operation Ward 57 for letting us get involved in their organization, the honor is completely ours.
