Today we got two Green Egg Tables delivered and cleared some space in the shop. Now to get all of the scrape cedar put away before the boys arrive. This table was built to hold a medium Green Egg Smoker and had to be delivered today for an anniversary gift. Just made it under the line. These ceramic cookers are heavy, and I mean real heavy. So it was only my son and I to put this one into the table. It normally takes four guys to sit the large on into the table. A friend of mine told me if we took the top off it would be easy for two of us. So I took the hinge off the back of the cooker and got the top off. It came off way too easy. We got the egg in the table and then the hinge wouldn't go back on. I thought I was about to buy a green egg and these are expensive. After about an hour I decided it would be better to call the Green Egg Dealer and let them put it back on. So it cost me $40.00 to get the hinge put back on. I would have been better off just getting a couple of guys to help us sit it in the table. But at least it was done my the dealer and if something isn't right they can call the dealer and have them come back out. So now the shop is ready for the next project that will get started tomorrow. No time to slow down. I have help on the way!!>
