chainsaw milling 1



This tree I did for a local man on a farm since the big mills would not touch it. The tree is black walnut at 20" across. I used the big ole husqvarna 395 xp for this. The saw was perfect and had gobs of raw power. The tree was a section of 12' in length. The wood was beautiful. I hope to have pics as I took some slabs home for scroll projects and perhaps furniture.

You run a skip tooth chain on that husky?  That's  saw is more than 90cc  It should have no problem pulling a  full house chain on a bigger bar than you are running there.
