Hey Lew, can you tell us how to do this, or show us where some plans are if that is where they came from? I would really like to do these.

I'll have to find my plans for these. I think they were from Woodcraft magazines but been having trouble getting thru on their site. I'll go thru my magazines and see what I can find.

Did you find these plans yet Lew?

Sorry, John. I thought I had posted them. I'll get right on that!

Candle Box is from Woodcraft Magazine June/July 2005. Candle Stick is from Woodcraft Magazine August/September 2006.

Beautiful pieces there. I am curious as to how the candle holders were made, I see though that they were a feature on WoodCraft, are they viewable online? I never knew that they were or not.

I think you have to get a back issue of the magazine for the plans, Charles.

Hey Lew, can you give me a few dimensions on these? If I get at least that, then I can pretty much create my own from there I think.

Basically I just need base diameter, total height, and diameter if the stick portion at the widest point.

The only problem I think I am going to have is the finger ring that is attached to the base. I am not sure how to go about creating that and getting it attached to the base.

I am going to try and do this anyway just by winging it. I'll post pics as I go. I really like these and want to try to create my own version ;)

Wish me luck :D

I still come back to this set, just to gaze, it truly is a work of art, one of my favorites all time in the craft of woodworking, I think I have told you this before right Lew?
